Scandinavian Interior design is about Nordic minimalism. We assist you to create timeless Scandinavian interior for private use as well as in public spaces. Feel the strong and pure beauty in every piece of our furniture and hand blown glass piece. It is contemporary Finnish design at the highest level. We design and produce tailor-made furniture, integrating art and technology to create unique furniture collections. We design special furniture pieces for private customers, as well as for commercial use. Our furniture and glass collection will offer timeless solutions with quality and style.
Scandinavian Interior is well known for its glass work. Champion of the Nordic glass blowers, Mr. Kari Alakoski is one of the most talented and has worked in cooperation with Italian Murano glass blowers. There are only a few in the world who know almost all techniques in the field of glass artistry. Mr. Alakoski enjoys working in cooperation with Finnish and foreign designers. Mr. Alakoski is a living legend and an important part of today’s glass design culture.
Future glass collector´s unique and valuable items are made today by Scandinavian Interior by bringing together young professional designers. The team is comprised of furniture and textile design, interior decoration, architecture, graphic design + 3D–modeling and rendering unit. Most of the furniture is made at Hirvelä Ltd. The company is well known with a history of high quality interiors for public use such as Finnish banks, offices, and retail shops. Each furniture piece receives attention to detail and is carefully crafted. Full cooperation with talented cabinet makers results in the most productive and creative solutions possible. For each furniture project, we carefully listen to our customer and respect the original architecture of the building.
